Recently, they have provided solar power systems to 150 Martyr families, and their ultimate aim was to have the Solar System to all (approximately 3000) Martyr families of India by the 15th of August 2023. However, many families could not be traced as their phone numbers had changed, and many had changed addresses. Though all 150 families had been given the system. And now the foundation team of Shri Dholakia is ready to cover the other states. The estimation of the projects is that just one lakh rupees will be sufficient per family for panels. The Solar System will perform for at least 20 years so the families can save money by electricity tariff and thus have financial help indirectly. Moreover, it is also better for the environment.

Some time back, a liver transplant operation of Govind Bhai was done at Kiran Hospital of Surat. Govind Bhai could have made this operation available from abroad. But the doctors of Surat treated him excellently and saved lakhs of his rupees. He decided to provide this sum for social welfare. Come into her mind was the dedication of the military force. So he decided to deliver a Solar System to every family of martyrs throughout India.

Govind Bhai Dholakia is the Founder and Chairman of Shri Ramakrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK), a leading diamond artisan and exporter company based in Surat, Gujarat.
He was born in 1947 in a poor farmer's family in the remote village of Dudhala, Gujarat. He moved to Surat in 1964 to work as a diamond cutter.
He started his own business in 1970 with the help of his friends and mentors,
Shantibhai Mehta and DK Naveenbhai Mehta.
